H. TECHNICAL STEPS BEFORE LEAVING BULGARIA
After the Adoption Ruling becomes effective, ANIDO submits a certified copy of the judgement to the respective municipal office for the issuance of a new birth certificate of the child. In this certificate the adoptee is listed with his/her new names, and the adopters are listed as his/her parents. On the basis of the new birth certificate the documents for issuing a Bulgarian passport for the child are submitted, with which the child can leave Bulgaria with his/her new parents.
